Marshell Wan

Co-Founder / Specialist

Marshell Wan is a leading wine and spirits specialist, auctioneer, and the founder of Arcana, a private brokerage specialising in fine wine, rare whisky, and collectible spirits. With over a decade of experience trading across New Zealand, France, Hong Kong, China, and the United Kingdom, Marshell has developed an extensive international network within the fine wine and whisky market.

He previously led the wine and spirits department at one of New Zealand’s leading auction houses, where he specialised in wine and spirits auctions, high-value consignments, and private client advisory. Marshell holds a Master’s degree in Wine Management from Burgundy School of Business and is WSET certified in both wine and spirits.

Through Arcana, he focuses on sourcing exceptional bottles, facilitating private brokerage opportunities, and providing discreet, relationship-driven services tailored to collectors, investors, and hospitality clients.

Stanley Ho

Co-Founder

Stanley Ho is the Co-Founder of Arcana, leading strategic expansion and operational execution across Asia and beyond. Based between New Zealand and Malaysia, he provides the architectural backbone for Arcana's cross-border brokerage platform.

A serial entrepreneur and the controlling shareholder of several Malaysian enterprises, Stanley brings deep expertise in regulated industries, high-value project logistics, and B2B market entry.

His role at Arcana is distinctly operational and strategic: establishing regional hubs, navigating import and warehousing frameworks, and unlocking corporate and institutional channels across Southeast Asia.

Together with Marshell Wan, he helps position Arcana not merely as a brokerage, but as a fully integrated cross-continental platform for collectors, investors, and institutions.

For clients based in Malaysia seeking private sourcing, consignments, collection placements, or brokerage support, Stanley serves as Arcana’s regional point of contact and operational lead across the region.

Francis Auclert

Event Specialist

Francis is a certified Sommelier with an international hospitality and wine background spanning France, the United Kingdom, Asia, and New Zealand.

Originally from a historic wine producing region near Chablis in Burgundy, France, his passion for wine began early and evolved through years of experience within Michelin-starred restaurants across Paris, London, and Singapore. These formative years provided a strong foundation in fine dining, wine service, and the appreciation of exceptional wines.

Today, he specialises in wine education, tasting experiences, and client engagement, combining technical expertise with an approachable and engaging style. His philosophy centres on making the world of wine accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for collectors, enthusiasts, and those beginning their wine journey.

Through Arcana, he contributes his knowledge and experience to curated tastings, private client experiences, and collector-focused initiatives, helping clients deepen their understanding and appreciation of fine wine and spirits.
